What you will do

As a DevOps and Platform Engineer at Astrexa, you will own how our software reaches production and how it behaves once it is there. You will help create reliable, secure and scalable infrastructure for software serving international customers.

1. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines used across engineering teams.

2. Run and scale Kubernetes workloads in production.

3. Provision and manage infrastructure as code, reviewed and tested like any other codebase.

4. Design observability into systems — metrics, logs, traces and actionable alerting.

5. Embed security controls into the delivery pipeline rather than bolting them on afterwards.

6. Own incident response, run postmortems and drive preventative improvements.

7. Manage cloud cost, capacity and reliability as we scale across regions.

What you bring

Any candidate can list Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker. We want to know what you built with them, what you decided, and what measurably improved.

Experience | 4–8 years in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering, including production ownership

Kubernetes | Real production experience — deploying, scaling and troubleshooting clusters; Helm charts

Infrastructure as code | Terraform to a professional standard: modules, state management, tested and reviewed changes

Pipelines | CI/CD architecture, reusable workflows, templates, artefact management and pipeline policy

Cloud | Deep experience with at least one of AWS, Azure or GCP: networking, identity, managed services and multi-environment design

Observability | Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry or equivalent

Security | Container scanning, secrets management, policy as code and security checks inside the pipeline

Engineering | Python, Go or equivalent — building tooling used by other engineers

Operations | Incident handling and postmortems

Communication | Professional English, spoken and written

Preferred qualifications

GitOps with ArgoCD or FluxCD · service mesh such as Istio, Linkerd or Cilium · internal developer platforms such as Backstage, Port or Cortex · FinOps and cloud cost optimisation · relevant cloud/Kubernetes/Terraform certifications.

Meet your team

You will be the senior infrastructure voice in a small engineering organisation, working directly with the CTO and product engineering leads. Your work will support international delivery across the UAE, Europe, Australia and the United States.
