At Astrexa, our purpose is to help the businesses that build, move and maintain the physical world run better. Manufacturers, industrial suppliers and facilities operators keep the economy running , yet they work with software that has not kept pace. Our technology brings intelligence to quoting, engineering and operations, while our engineering teams also deliver custom software solutions for international clients. Today, Astrexa serves clients across the UAE, Europe, Australia and the United States. Our technology portfolio includes AI-powered Elevate and AI-powered Simplix, alongside custom software solutions built for business needs across international markets. We are a company of builders. We believe technology should be measured by what it makes possible, that trust is earned through security and reliability rather than claimed, and that the best software is built by people close enough to the problem to understand it.

What you will do

As an AI Engineer at Astrexa, you will build production-grade AI capabilities and intelligent workflows that solve real business problems. This is an engineering role focused on reliability, evaluation, security and production delivery — not research alone.

1. Design and ship LLM-based features into production software systems.

2. Build retrieval architectures over customer documents, catalogues and business data.

3. Build evaluation pipelines, regression tests and quality measurement frameworks for AI features.

4. Implement guardrails, output validation and monitoring for AI systems in production.

5. Manage inference cost, latency and model selection as usage scales.

6. Work with product and customer stakeholders to understand what is reliably achievable.

7. Contribute to responsible AI practices, documentation and secure engineering standards.

What you bring

AI engineers who have shipped capabilities that stayed in production, not only impressive demonstrations.

Experience | 4–8 years of software engineering, including at least 2 years shipping AI or LLM features to production

Python | Strong, production-grade and async-aware

Engineering foundation | APIs, databases, testing and deployment

LLM APIs | Working fluency across providers, structured output, streaming, cost and latency management

Retrieval | Production RAG: embeddings, chunking, vector databases, reranking and retrieval diagnostics

Agents | Tool/function calling, multi-step workflows and orchestration frameworks

Evaluation | Offline/online evaluation, prompt regression testing, groundedness and relevance measurement

Safety | Prompt-injection defence, output validation, hallucination measurement and red-teaming

Operations | Tracing, observability and incident handling for AI systems

Communication | Professional English, spoken and written

You will work alongside the CTO and product engineering team, building AI capabilities and customer solutions across Astrexa’s international delivery portfolio. Astrexa’s products include AI-powered Elevate and AI-powered Simplix, this role is not limited to those products and may support broader engineering initiatives as business needs evolve.

The question that decides this application

Describe an evaluation you designed. What did you measure, how did you build the dataset, what did it catch, and what did you change as a result?

Bring out your best

Astrexa is a place where engineers own outcomes rather than tickets. You will speak directly to the people who use what you build, see your work running in live business environments, and have a direct line to the founding team.

We win with inclusion

Astrexa is committed to equality of opportunity. We evaluate every application on merit, and we are committed to creating a workplace where people from every background can do the best work of their careers. If you require any accommodation during the hiring process, please tell us — we will make it work.
